- We DON'T handle payments directly (Razorpay does).

- We DON'T provide healthcare services.
- We are a digital marketplace connector between you and licensed pharmacies.

Self-medication warning

- DON'T use someone else's prescription.
- DON'T change dosage without your doctor.
- DON'T stop medicine without your doctor.

Emergency warning

Allergy & contraindication

- You MUST report all existing medicines to the pharmacist.

- Don't assume a medicine is safe without verification.
- Pharmacist's responsibility: cross-check allergies and interactions.
- Your responsibility: accurate health information.
Pregnancy & nursing
- Pregnant women MUST consult a doctor before ANY medicine.
- Nursing mothers MUST consult a doctor before ANY medicine.
- Many medicines can cause birth defects.
- Many medicines pass into breast milk.
- Serious consequences are possible.
- Doctor approval is MANDATORY.
Drug interactions
- Different medicines may interact dangerously.
- ALWAYS tell the pharmacist ALL medicines you take.
- ALWAYS tell the pharmacist ALL supplements you take.
- ALWAYS tell the pharmacist ALL herbal products you take.
- Ask the pharmacist about interactions.
- We DON'T check interactions — the pharmacist does.
- Your responsibility: report all substances.
Specific condition warnings
- Liver disease: consult doctor — dose adjustment may be needed.
- Kidney disease: consult doctor — dose adjustment may be needed.
- Heart conditions: consult doctor — dangerous interactions possible.
- High blood pressure: monitor regularly, follow doctor exactly.
- Diabetes: may affect blood sugar — monitor closely.
- Cancer patients: may interact with cancer drugs — doctor approval REQUIRED.
- Mental health conditions: serious side effects possible — doctor oversight REQUIRED.
- Seniors: may need dose adjustment, higher side-effect risk.
- Children: pediatric doses required, not for all medicines.
- Addiction history: risk of dependency — doctor supervision REQUIRED.
- ALWAYS consult a doctor for any condition.
Side effects
- All medicines have side effects.
- Report side effects to your doctor, not us.
- We are NOT medical professionals.
- Stop a medicine if you experience a severe reaction.
- Call your doctor immediately for: severe allergic reaction, severe side effects, unexpected symptoms, worsening condition.
- If severe, call 102 / 108 immediately.
- Minor side effects usually disappear after a few doses.
- Serious side effects: contact your doctor immediately.
Antibiotic resistance
- Only take the prescribed amount.
- Always complete the full course.
- Don't skip doses.
- Don't stop early.
- Don't use someone else's prescription.
- Helps prevent antibiotic resistance.
- Important for public health.
- Misuse creates superbugs.
Counterfeit medicines
- Counterfeit medicines are DANGEROUS.
- They can cause serious harm.
- Only buy from licensed pharmacies.
- We link to licensed pharmacies only.
- Check packaging: hologram, batch number, expiry.
- Report counterfeits to the pharmacy AND health authorities.
- Lowpill is not liable for counterfeits — the pharmacy is liable.
- Verify authenticity with the pharmacist.
Generic vs branded
- Generic = medically equivalent to branded.
- Substitution is NOT automatic.
- You MUST consult your doctor about substitution.
- Your pharmacist can suggest a generic.
- Your doctor's prescription is final.
- The price difference can be significant; quality is the same.
- Don't assume it is a different medicine.
4. Affiliate Disclosure & Transparency
- We earn commissions from pharmacy referrals (typically 3–10%).
- Commission doesn't affect your price.
- You pay the same whether we recommend the pharmacy or not.
- Transparent commission model.
- Partners: 1mg, PharmEasy, Apollo, Netmeds, CueLinks network.
- All pharmacies are shown fairly.
- The cheapest option is always highlighted.
- No pharmacy pays for better placement.
- Commission disclosure appears in every recommendation.
- User trust > Commission — always.
- We could manipulate rankings for profit. We don't — user safety first.

5. Pharmacy Liability & Responsibility
Lowpill is NOT the seller or the pharmacist.
Pharmacies are responsible for
- Selling and dispensing medicines.
- Delivery and logistics.
- Refunds and returns.
- Medicine quality and authenticity.
- Prescription verification.
- Customer service and dispute resolution.

We are just the referral platform. The pharmacy's terms apply, not ours, for the actual purchase.
6. Liability Limits & Disclaimers
Maximum liability: the amount you paid Lowpill (which is typically zero, since the platform is free).
- Use of the site is at your own risk.
- Information is provided on a best-effort basis.
- No guarantee of accuracy or completeness.
- Prices are updated regularly but may be outdated at any moment.
- No guarantee of product availability or delivery times.
We are NOT liable for
- Pharmacy service failures.
- Delivery delays or failures.
- Wrong medicines sent.
- Counterfeit medicines.
- Refund issues.
- Expired or damaged medicines.
- Side effects or allergic reactions.
- Drug interactions.
- Health outcomes or medical complications.
- Consequences of incorrect usage.
- Consequences of ignoring your doctor's advice.
You assume ALL risk for health decisions. The pharmacy assumes responsibility for delivery and quality.
7. Prescription Verification Disclaimer
- We DON'T verify prescriptions.
- We DON'T check whether a prescription is valid.
- We DON'T check whether the doctor is licensed.
- Pharmacies verify, not us.
- Your responsibility: ensure a valid prescription.
- Pharmacist's responsibility: verify with the doctor if needed.
- Don't use the service if your prescription is invalid.
- The pharmacy will not dispense without a valid prescription.
- Follow your doctor's instructions exactly.
- The pharmacy has the final say on dispensing.
8. Surgery & Anesthesia Warning
- Tell your doctor ALL medicines you take before surgery.
- Some medicines must be stopped before surgery.
- Anesthesia interactions are possible.
- Recovery interactions are possible.
- Critical disclosure is required.
- Don't hide your medicine history.
- Post-surgery: follow your doctor about resuming medicines.
- Your doctor coordinates all medicines.
9. Driving & Operating Machinery
- Some medicines cause drowsiness.
- Don't drive if drowsy.
- Don't operate machinery if drowsy.
- Safety first.

- Keep away from children — safety-critical.

- Don't throw medicines in the trash — environmental hazard.

- Trademark: Lowpill is a brand operated by the Lowpill team.
- Logo and content copyright: © Lowpill.
- User-generated content: you retain rights and grant Lowpill a license to display it.
- Don't reproduce our content without permission.
- Don't modify our content.
- Don't use our trademarks.
- Don't claim ownership of our content.
24. Indemnification Clause
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Lowpill, its officers, directors, employees, and affiliates against third-party claims, lawsuits, damages, legal fees and defense costs arising from your use of the service or your violation of these terms.
25. Force Majeure
- We are not responsible for: natural disasters, war, pandemic, or other acts of God.
- Service interruptions caused by earthquake, flood, hurricane, or government action.
- COVID-type events: not liable.
- Government lockdown: not liable.
- Infrastructure failure: not liable.
26. Entire Agreement
These are the complete terms. They supersede all previous agreements. No other agreements exist. This is the entire agreement between you and Lowpill.
